ABOUT KCCWA
 

The Knox County Clean Water Alliance (KCCWA) is a group of citizens in Knoxville and Knox County, Tennessee who are concerned about our community's water quality, quantity, management and control. The mission of the KCCWA is to conserve, preserve and protect Knox County's water resources and to inform the public of issues affecting water quality, quantity, management and control.

Membership is comprised of representatives from neighborhood, homeowner groups and other organizations, as well as individual citizens who are interested in clean water issues in Knoxville and Knox County. The KCCWA is organized as a non-profit organization and is applying for 501(c)3 status.

The KCCWA is actively working with experts such as professional geologists, hydrologists, legal advisors and environmentalists to identify specific problems and special factors affecting water quality in Knox County including water pollution, flooding, stormwater management and enforcement, and water conservation.
